Case Details
Pneumatic Vacuum Precision Chuck
1. Force control is achieved through thin-film deformation design, effectively ensuring that the workpiece remains undeformed during clamping.
2. The chuck features stepless pressure adjustment, allowing the clamping force to be freely controlled according to the actual machining load of the workpiece, thereby maintaining machining accuracy.
3. Vacuum suction cups are installed inside the chuck to ensure Z-axis positioning accuracy and clamping force, thereby preventing deformation of thin-walled workpieces.
4. Radial positioning accuracy: The chuck is equipped with a high-precision collet and undergoes cryogenic treatment to ensure a concentricity accuracy of 2 μm.
5. Incorporating an air-suction module further enhances the safety and stability of the machining process.
Working principle and constituent components of the arrow-shaped pneumatic vacuum precision chuck:
(1) Pneumatic diaphragm chuck body
(2) Vacuum Generator
(3) Air Supply Pressure Controller
(4) Pneumatic switches and other auxiliary accessories
The arrow-shaped pneumatic vacuum precision chuck generates pressure via a vacuum generator, which is delivered into the chuck’s sealing chamber. The bottom surface of the workpiece serves as the contact interface, forming a sealed cavity with the chuck, and the workpiece is then securely held in place by vacuum suction. The chuck is equipped with eight diaphragm-type jaws around its periphery; when the vacuum is engaged, the air valves for these diaphragm jaws are opened, allowing all eight jaws to simultaneously clamp the workpiece from all sides. This ensures that the workpiece is both flat, stable, and tightly secured, minimizing deformation and enabling dimensional accuracy to be maintained within the range of 0.005–0.008 mm, thereby guaranteeing product quality and processing efficiency.
